Seed grant to Agpharm Bioinnovations under RKVY-RAFTAAR by IEF of CCS-NIAM, Jaipur
IEF of CCS NIAM Agri Business incubator recommended grant-in-aid support to Cohort 10 startup M/s. Agpharm Bioinnovations LLP for their innovation, “VOLAFRESH® (Patent filed) is an innovative bio-organic formulation designed to combat post-harvest losses in fruits and vegetables. Delivered as a dip sachet resembling a tea bag, it is activated by immersing in water for 15-25 seconds, followed by a 30-minute incubation at room temperature. Once placed in the produce box, VOLAFRESH® creates a decentralized gaseous environment by releasing volatile aromatic compounds akin to essential oils. These compounds possess potent antimicrobial properties, effectively eliminating a wide range of spoilage and pathogenic microbes, including bacteria and fungi. This extends shelf life and preserves the quality of fresh produce during storage and transit.

The Certificate of Appreciation carried a cash award of Rs. 2 Lakhs and was received by the Founder, Dr. Sanjai Saxena, from the Chief Minister of Punjab, S Bhagwant Mann.

We are the members in first cohort of Indian Agritech Incubation Network (IAIN). In initiative supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and the Tata Trusts, in partnership with the Collectives for Integrated Livelihood Initiatives (CInI) and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur). It envisions to create an enabling ecosystem for innovators and entrepreneurs developing solutions for smallholder farmers in order to help them become more productive, profitable and empowered.
